SOUNDSCAPE
Connecting both fans and artist through their love of music.
“Music is a therapy. It is a communication far more powerful than words, far more immediate, far more efficient.”
Creating a concert venue that will host music from all eras. Here, people will connect, escape into a music reality. I want this space to be where people from all backgrounds can find a common experience through music.
Soulection has been a cornerstone of creativity for innovative musicians, crate-digging DJs, and open-minded fans from across the world.
Located in Downtown Los Angeles, just minutes away from ROWDTLA and the Art District lays these two warehouse building with a private outdoor lot.
In the past 10 years has changed dramatically. What was formerly known as industrial shipping and manufacturing lots are now being gentrified into creative and hip spots. Downtown and the Art District is now made for pop up exhibits, foodie attractions, and upcoming design.

This is an artist-only entrance. Low-lit with dark metal panels from above and cool blue accent light makes the room look as if it is glowing from every corner. Here, the artist has a place to part and enjoy time with friends away from fans.

In this space, artists looking to create or look for new sounds can get comfortable working on music. There is a different setup for each artist, whether there are sound dividers or table work. Colors are dark and edgy and allow natural daylight to come in.

Small private recording studios are included to create an area for upcoming artists to express themselves. This area can benefit an artist by being a place other than their bedroom to record, but also giving current artists a chance to collaborate with others to create new sounds or reminisce about music from the past. With soundproofing and the most updated technology, people will be able to focus and create great music.

People can search through vinyl records or use an app to change the music for the whole room. With each new song that plays, the individual listening rooms will play the music video or live performance as a way to have people feel immersed at that moment.

Fans and artists can come together to enjoy drinks before or after performances.

While enjoying a live performance, fans can gather at this auditorium seating.

The floor closest to the live performance glows and interacts with the music, so the lights will correspond while people dance and sing along to the artist.

Since this venue is for all people and music types, the concerts will highlight music from the past, current artists, and upcoming musicians.
